Man strangles woman to death; accuses her of brother's murder
In a shocking incident of crime coming in from Tamil Nadu's Kamarajar Nagar in Thiruporur, police have taken a 19-year-old man and his friend into their custody for allegedly killing a women as the latter suspected that she killed his brother. The accused has been identified as Karthik.
The victim, identified as Shahinsha, aged 26, was found dead at her resident on Sunday and following her death, her brother-in-law and his friend have been taken into police custody. The victim lived with her two sons. Karthik and his friends were allegedly drunk when they strangulated the woman to death with a towel and fled.
The matter became known after the woman's mother found her unconscious and alerted Kelabakkam police about it, reported the Times of India.
As maintained by reports, Shahinsha got married to Vijay but sadly, he died a couple of years after the marriage. She had told her neighbours that he died of suicide. But, Karthik suspected that she had killed his brother.
In a bid to find out the mystery, the man reportedly established a relationship with the victim to extract the details of his brother's death. However, the woman was unclear with her answers and decided to move away to Kelabakkam. She stopped talking to Karthik.
According to police, Shahinsha reportedly warned Karthik that he would meet the same fate as his brother if he kept pestering her about the incident
Furthermore, police said that Karthik and his friend came to her house on Sunday morning and strangulated her to death.
