Man gets angry after knowing wife’s illicit affair; know what he does next

In a shocking incident, a man has been arrested for allegedly killing his wife’s lover in the Burdwan district in West Bengal.

Police recovered the dead body of Pradeep Majhi in the Shibpur area of Burdwan on the afternoon of July 1.

According to news18.com, the accused man has been identified as Niru Majhi. Reportedly, Pradeep had an extramarital affair with the accused man’s wife. According to police, Niru’s wife had run away with Pradeep for two days and when they returned home, the man allegedly killed him.

Police suspect that Niru killed Pradeep with the help of a sharp weapon and dumped the body in an irrigation canal.

The cops have collected samples from the location and sent them for forensic tests.

During interrogation, Niru had confessed to killing and told that his wife had an illicit affair with Pradeep. Because of his wife’s extra-marital affair, Niru was angry. According to the family of the deceased, Niru fought with Pradeep in the past too.

Meanwhile, Niru has been taken into police custody and the incident of the crime would be reconstructed to get into details of the incident.

Police officials are also investigating whether any other person was also involved in the killing of Pradeep.

According to news18.com, police will also interrogate the family members of Niru and Pradeep.
