In an extremely shocking occurrence reported from Madhya Pradesh, a 50-year-old man allegedly murdered his wife after she made him wait for a towel after his bath on Saturday evening.
As maintained by the cops, the incident of crime happened in Hirapur village, which falls under the jurisdiction of Kirnapur police station in Balaghat district.
The accused, identified as Rajkumar Bahe, a daily wage employee of the forest department, asked his wife, identified as Pushpa Bai, aged 45, to give him a towel after taking a bath, Kirnapur police station's SHO Rajendra Kumar Baria said, quoting a police complaint registered by the victim’s family members, reports PTI.
His wife told him to hold-up for a while because she was washing utensils.
This infuriated the accused, who then repeatedly hit his wife on the head with a shovel, and she lost her life on the spot.
Furthermore, the accused also threatened his 23-year-old daughter when she attempted to stop the accused, the police said.
The dead body of the victim was handed over to the family members on Sunday following an autopsy. The accused was taken into police custody on Sunday and a case was lodged against him on charge of murder and other relevant provisions of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), the official said.
