Ludhiana: Unemployed son stabbed his father to death after argument
In a shocking, a murder case has come to light where a man allegedly killed his father in front of his mother in Ludhiana’s BRS Nagar on Tuesday. After murdering his father the 45-year-old man allegedly sat next to his father’s body and called up his relatives and informed them about the incident.
The deceased man identified as Sham Singh Anand. As per the reports, the 45-year-old man was unemployed amid COVID-19 due to which an argument was broke out between father and son.
Sham Singh was a retired IFFCO north region general manager. The accused name Jatinder was the only child of the deceased. Reportedly, the relationship between Sham Singh and the accused was not cordial because Jatinder was financially dependent on his father.
A few days ago, Jatinder also had an argument with his father. After the spat, Jatinder and his mother Charanjit went to their relatives’ home in Ropar. However, Sham Singh went to their relatives’ home and brought his family back to their house.

After returning home, once again Jatinder and Charanjit had an argument with Sham Singh.
The argument escalated between them, Sham Singh allegedly grabbed a knife and attacked his wife. His wife sustained a deep cut on her wrist, following which, Jatinder attacked his father on the head with a blunt weapon.
Soon, the accused snatched the knife from his father’s hand and stabbed him in the eyes, head, and face. Jatinder immediately called his uncle and informed him about the incident.
Sham Singh’s brother Kishan Singh said that Jatinder is a drug addict and often asks for money to buy it, which led to fights between the father and son.
