Jodhpur: Man kills wife, informs his in-laws and police about the crime
A man who murdered his wife at their residence in BJS Colony in Jodhpur notified his in-laws and the police about the killing.
The accused, identified as Vikram Singh allegedly murdered his wife Shiv Kanwar on Sunday. following the murder, he called up his in-laws informing them that he had killed their daughter. He also called up the police and told them of the same. When the police arrived, the accused was found playing mobile games next to his wife's corpse.
The accused has been arrested. According to the police, the accused said that he killed his wife using a scissors. The couple had two children as well. "Singh has no realisation of what he has done. According to him, he got a panic attack or fits and killed his wife," said a police official.
A police official further stated that the husband was frustrated because of being unemployed.
"The wife used to do sewing work at home and later started working in a cooperative store. Singh, who had been unemployed for a long time was unhappy with his wife's work," said DCP Dharmendra Singh Yadav.
The police have handed over the victim's dead body to her family after performing an autopsy. The father of the deceased, Manohar Singh has registered a case of murder against Vikram Singh.
