Hyderabad horror: Inebriated man chops off wife’s head as he doubted her fidelity

There seems to be no end to crimes especially when it comes to women and children across the country. In a recent development coming in from Telangana’s Hyderabad, a man allegedly slit the throat of his wife and then severed her head from the body on Thursday.

Later, the accused, identified as Pervez, gave himself up to the police, after which he was formally placed under arrest.

The accused (Pervez), a petrol pump worker by profession, used to have doubts about the fidelity of his wife Samreen. He tied the knot with her around 14 years back. The couple had three children from the marrage. A few years before, Samreen left him due to frequent confrontations and drinking habit. The couple, however, got back together after their family members and close relatives intervened.

Shortly after getting back together, the fights between the couple rekindled. On Thursday, Pervez came back home in a drunken state and got into a fight with Samreen. He allegedly slit her throat and then chopped off her head. Around 2 am, he surrendered himself to the cops at the local police station, according to a report by The Times of India.

The police then recorded the arrest of the accused. A case has been filed against him under IPC Section 302.

In another incident reported from Karnataka’s Bengaluru, a 40-year-old man allegedly stabbed his 32-year-old wife to death on suspicion of infidelity. Following the horrifying crime, the accused was taken into police custody.

The accused, identified as BR Kantharaju, doubted that his wife, identified as Roopa HG, was having an illict affair with her two male family members. His suspicion grew when he saw her dancing with the two during a family trip, as per reports.

An argument flared up between the couple over the issue. The accused, in a frenzy of rage, stabbed his wife to death.
