Husband kills wife two month after wedding; know shocking reason

A 25-year-old woman was allegedly murdered by her husband two months after their wedding. The shocking incident took place in the Maidangarhi area in South Delhi.

The 29-year-old man identified as Kuldeep Singh Rana and allegedly killed his wife over dowry.

Kuldeep is a contractor by profession and got married to the victim on April 26. After the wedding, the couple had come to Delhi on Wednesday, after living at the woman’s place in Uttarakhand for some time.

The accused was angry as his wife’s family didn’t give him property papers. He was in an inebriated condition and severely thrashed his wife. Thereafter, he strangled her to death.

Police received inputs about the crime and registered an offence under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Meanwhile, accused Kuldeep Singh Rana has been arrested.

According to The Indian Express report, a case of murder has been registered against the accused. He killed his wife for dowry.

The accused had already received a dowry but wanted more land and properties registered in his name, DCP (South), Atul Kumar Thakur told the media.

Police found marks on the victim’s neck and bruises on her body and face. Police suspected to be a case of death due to strangulation.
