Haryana: Nepalese woman allegedly gangraped by five men in front of husband
A Nepalese woman was allegedly gang-raped by five men in front of her husband in Haryana. As per the police, the accused barged into victim’s rented home on Thursday.
They thrashed her husband, a farm labourer, and tied him up with ropes. The accused then took turns to rape the woman.
According to a report by the Times of India, “Five persons with covered faces came in a car at the tubewell around 11 pm on Thursday. I along with my daughter was sleeping in the room and my husband was sleeping in the verandah. They tied my husband. Four persons raped me.”
The victim, in her statement to the police, said the accused ran away after committing the crime.
A case under various sections of the Indian Penal Code was filed against the five accused, IPC sections 376D (gang-rape), 342 (wrongful confinement), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 452 (house-trespass).
According to the police, investigation is underway after registering a case under relevant provisions of the law against the five accused, SHO, women police station, said.
In another appalling incident, an 11-year-old boy was murdered in Alwar district of Rajasthan. His remains was found with severed nose and ears on Sunday day after the boy went missing from his home
According to the inputs, the boy was killed for human sacrifice by some of his family members.
