Gujarat: Teenager allegedly abducts, molests his friend’s 21-year-old girlfriend

A 17-year-old boy, who belongs to Gujarat’s Navsari district allegedly kidnapped and molested his friend’s 21-year-old girlfriend. After a compliant was registered, the cops took the teenager into their custody on Tuesday.

The teen accused asked the girl to come to a location near her residence on the night of 21st June, reportedly after telling her that her boyfriend wanted to see her. The boy came to the location on a bike and told the girl that her boyfriend sent him for pick her up. When the girl asked about her boyfriend and asked the teenager to make her speak to him, he told her that her boyfriend’s bike’s tyre got punctured, said police.

According to a report by The Times of India, trusting the accused, the girl agreed to come with him on the bike. When the duo reached the village outskirts, the teenager stopped the motercycle and told the girl that he lied to her. Thereafter, he allegedly forced himself on the girl. When the girl cried for help, the teenager hit her head against a tree and ran away from the crime spot, leaving her bleeding.

The 21-year-old girl then reached a house in the area and asked its dwellers to call her family members. She was taken to a hospital in Valsad for medical treatment and the police were informed about the matter.

“A complaint of abduction, molestation, criminal intimidation and causing grievous hurt at Khergam police station,” the report published by TOI stated.

In a different incident, two people, including a 16-year-old boy, allegedly gang-raped an 11-year-old girl in Rajasthan’s Nagaur district on Monday.

According to police, the two accused and the survivor knew each other. On late Monday, the accused called the girl outside her house. After which, they took her to a nearby area and gang-raped her.

A case was filed on Wednesday, following which both the accused were taken into custody, police said.
