Ghaziabad: 14-year-old hangs himself to death after mother denies to fulfill his wish
A 14-year-old boy allegedly committed suicide after his mother denied to fulfill his desire. The incident took place in Ghaziabad late on Wednesday.
As per reports, the minor boy was upset as his mother refuted to fulfill his request to buy or adopt a kitten immediately. Thereafter, he decided to end his life by hanging himself from a ceiling fan at his residence.
The shocking incident took place under the territorial jurisdiction of Indirapuram Police Station. According to the circle officer, Anshu Jain told that the kid was demanding a pet kitten for the last two-three days. On Wednesday night, his mother told him that she would bring him a kitten after his father returns. His father works in China.
The boy didn’t agree to wait for his father as he was obstinate to want the pet immediately.
However, his mother refused to bring it immediately, following which he got angry and went to his room. Reportedly, he was habitual of locking himself up in his room. Therefore, his mother didn’t take him seriously at that time.
However, the next morning, the boy’s mother and his gym trainer opened the door and left shocked after seeing him hanging from the ceiling fan of his room.
The CO also added that the minor boy was a class 10th student of a school in Delhi. He used to stay in a hostel but, had returned due to the imposition of lockdown due to coronavirus, Hindustan Times reported.
Meanwhile, the police have not received any written complaint from the minor deceased boy’s family.
