Delhi woman mowed down by bus while trying to cross road [Viral Video]

In a spine-chilling incident reported from the national capital, a woman was run over by a bus while she was trying to cross a road in the Karol Bagh area of Delhi on Monday. The entire incident was caught on CCTV camera.

The victim has been identified as Sapna Yadav, a native of Delhi's Shastri Park who used to work in a call center in Jhandewalan. The incident took place at 9 am when Sapna was going towards her office.

The horrific incident happened at Faiz road in Karol Bagh when Sapna tried to cross the road from the left of the private bus which had stopped. The bus, however, started moving suddenly and ran over her, killing her on the spot.

The accused bus driver ran away from the spot after the accident.

Following this, police were informed about the incident and the dead body was sent for post-mortem.

Both the driver and the conductor of the bus are on the run and efforts are being made to arrest them. Police have seized the bus and further investigation is underway.
