Delhi shocker: Man stabbed to death after quarrel between two minors
In a shocking incident coming in from the national capital’s Jahangirpuri area, a 42-year-old man was stabbed to death following a quarrel between two minors over their bicycles on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Abdul Mutalif, a native of Jahangirpuri E-block. Three other people also sustained injuries.
The horrific incident happened following a quarrel that broke out between two minor boys after a cycle ridden by one of them accidentally crashed with the other, however it escalated when both their families intervened.
The accused, identified as Mohammad Rutaj, along with two to three others, allegedly attacked the family of the other boy, stabbing Mutalif and causing slight injuries to the boy’s mother, identified as Shahida Khatoon, her sister Shabnam and brother Abdul Wahid.
In the time of this fight, the accused stabbed Mutalif in his chest. The victim was rushed to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The police received a call at around 10.45 pm on Thursday. Police immediately reached the hospital where the injured were shifted. They sent the dead body for autopsy.
A case was filed against the accused under relevant sections of the IPC and a search operation is underway to track and arrest him.
