Delhi horror: 45-year-old man attacks wife, 3 daughters with widowpane piece, 1 killed

In a horrifying incident reported from Johripur’s Jain Colony, A 45-year-old man attacked his wife and daughters with a piece of windowpane, which led to severe injuries to the females.

A PCR call was received at Karawal Nagar Police station stating that a person had brutally attacked his daughters and the injured were taken to GTB Hospital.

On reaching the GTB hospital, the police discovered that four persons (mother and three daughters) were admitted in hospital by one of their relatives.

On inquiry, it came to light that at about 7.15 a.m. on Thursday, Deep Sain had a quarrel with his wife during which he launched an attack on her with a broken piece of windowpane. Hearing their mother's cries, the daughters stepped in to rescue her, but the accused attacked them as well.

One of the daughters received injury on her stomach while the others received injuries on their chest and hands.

Following the attack, the accused (Deep Sain) ran away from the spot. The family members then called one of their relatives, who took them to the hospital.

In the time of treatment, the accused's 18-year-old daughter succumbed to her injuries.

In the meantime, one 23-year-old daughter and their 42-year-old mother are still undergoing treatment while the third daughter, aged around 21 years, has been discharged from the hospital.

Police teams have been set up to trace and arrest the accused. A case has been registered in connection with the matter.
