Crime on Camera: Drunk men hurl abuses, threaten husband and wife in Delhi

In a shocking incident, a man along with his wife was harassed by the two drunk men in Delhi.

The matter came to light when the video of the incident was shared by the man on Twitter.

He captioned the video: "Drinking openly on roads and ready to fight in DELHI. I was with my wife and this is their behaviour. Paschim Vihar,Delhi 02/09/2020 11:15pm@CPDelhi please take appropriate action."

According to police, the incident happened on Wednesday night. The incident took place in outer Delhi’s Paschim Vihar.

In the video, two men in a car were seen drinking and hurling abuses at the couple. Later, one of the men tried to chase the car of the couple when they were tried to going back.

Meanwhile, the Delhi Police have arrested two persons after the viral video came to the notice of senior police officers.

"A video is viral on Twitter in which two persons are seen drinking in a car, misbehaving and threatening a couple on the outer ring road falling in Delhi's Paschim Vihar east area. The accused have been arrested and the car, which was used for obstructing the way of the complainant, seized," said a senior police officer.

Delhi Police recorded the statement of the complainant after contacting him by phone.

The two accused have been identified as Karan Chopra and Satpreet Singh. Both belong to Paschim Vihar, Delhi. 

As per the complaint filed by the man, Delhi police registered a case under sections 341/509/506/34 IPC.
