COVID-19: Gurugram containment zones; complete list to fight coronavirus

Gurugram district administration has declared the following nine areas in the city as containment zones to check the spread of COVID-19:

Sector-9, Sector-54/Nirvana Country, Palam Vihar, Emar Palm Gardens Sector-83, Laburnum Society, Sector-39, Village Fazilpur Jharsa, Ward Number 11 Pataudi and Village Raipur Sohna.

Door to door screening
According to a notice released by Gurugram district administration, door-to-door screening or thermal scanning will be done in the containment zone. A sufficient number of teams will be formed which will work under the strict direction of the civil surgeon.

Sanitisation of the containment zone
The entire area falling under the containment zone will be fully sanitised by the municipal corporation.

Complete restriction on public movement
Public movement in the containment zones shall be absolutely restricted.
Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij on Thursday informed that there are 134 active cases of COVID-19 in the state, out of which 106 patients are linked to the Tablighi Jamaat event in Delhi.
