Coronavirus Fear: UP Farmer suffering from cold, fever commits suicide
A shocking news was reported from Uttar Pradesh’s Mathura where a 36-year-old farmer who was suffering from fever and cold committed suicide on Monday to save his village from the outspread of novel Coronavirus.
As per TOI, the relatives if deceased identified as Mahendra Singh told the police that from past few days he was suffering from cold and fever. Amid the news about Coronavirus Mahendra assumed that he too was suffering from the same. So in order to prevent the spread of infection, he jumped into the well.
The incident took place around 3 am in Morning on seeing this, locals immediately informed the police who then swung into action and reached the village. They fished out the body from the well and sent it to postmortem.
Varun Kumar, a police officer of the area confirmed the news and said that the victim committed suicide out of Coronavirus fear and said that they are waiting for his postmortem report.
In a similar incident, a 25-year-old man from Bihar was beaten to death when he complained against the 2 men who returned from Mumbai to his village and didn’t go through the Coronavirus test. Read the full story here
