Businessman, his other family members beaten to death

In a recent incident coming in from West Bengal’s Hoooghly district, a businessman and his family members were found murdered. The horrific incident happened in Singur area on Thursday.

The other murdered victims include businessman Dinesh Patel's father, son and wife. Dinesh owned a wood saw mill in Singur’s Nandabazar area.

The main suspect in the case is a relative of the family. Eyewitnesses told police he was seen leaving the crime spot. The accused is identified as Yogesh Dhawan, who is a cousin of the deceased businessman, as per a report in Hindustan Times.

"Around a month back, the accused had come from Gujarat to work at the saw mill," police said.

The dead bodies of Dinesh Patel and his wife, identified as Anusuya were recovered in one of the rooms in the factory where the family used to put up. The dead bodies of Patel and Anusuya had many injuries supposedly caused by iron rod.

While the bodies of Dinesh Patel's father and son were found lying in a nearby room. The victims passed away at Kolkata's SSKM Hospital after they were moved to there.

As maintained by police they are carrying out raids in order to arrest the accused. Cops believe that some property dispute may be behind the gruesome act.
