Bride refuses to marry after groom’s friends drag her to dance floor

A bride-to-be decided to return home from her wedding ceremony without performing any rituals. The reason behind her big decision was the behavior of grooms’ friends who dragged her to the dance floor without her permission.

According to the woman’s father, her daughter cannot be forced to tie the knot with a man who does not respect her.

As per timesnownews.com reports, the groom hailed from a village in Bareilly district while the bride-to-be was from Kannauj district. On Friday, the family of the bride-to-be and her family arrived in Bareilly for a grand wedding ceremony. Everything was going perfect till the incident that took place.

Reportedly, some friends of the groom dragged the bride to the dance floor which triggered heated arguments between both parties.

Following the argument, the wedding was cancelled and the bride decided to go back home.
The bride’s family allegedly filed a dowry complaint against the groom’s family but the two sides arrived at a settlement.

The groom’s family agreed to pay Rs 6.5 lakh to the family of the bride-to-be, TOI reported.

On Sunday, the groom’s family tried again to convince the bride’s family to re-arrange the wedding ceremony, but all attempts were in vain. The bride refused to marry over the misbehaviour of the groom’s pals.
