BJP slams Rahul Gandhi after video of him at foreign nightclub goes viral [Watch]
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is once again criticised by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) after a video of him at a foreign nightclub surfaced on Tuesday. The clip soon went viral on social media.
Sharing the clip, BJP’s Amit Malviya tweeted, “Rahul Gandhi was at a nightclub when Mumbai was under seize. He is at a nightclub at a time when his party is exploding. He is consistent. Interestingly, soon after the Congress refused to outsource their presidency, hit jobs have begun on their Prime Ministerial candidate.”
Here's the video:
The undated footage displays Rahul Gandhi accompanied by a friend at a dimly lit nightclub, with people dancing to the loud music in the background.
According to the India Today, the video was shot at a popular nightclub in Kathmandu. Rahul Gandhi was in the Nepal capital on Monday to attend the wedding of his journalist friend Sumnima Udas at the Marriot Hotel.
Interestingly, few hours back, the Congress took aim at Prime Minister Narendra Modi , who is on a three-day visit to Germany, Denmark and France.
"There is a crisis in the country, but Saheb likes being abroad,” the grand old party tweeted.
