Bengaluru woman gets lover cut off husband's genitals to kill him
In a horrifying incident reported from Bengaluru, a woman makes her paramour kill her husband by getting his genitals cut off. Although the crime happened on October 21, the matter came to light on Thursday after the Yelahanka police, who were investigating the case, arrested Shwetha and her partner, identified as Suresh in connection with the murder.
Both Shwetha and Chandru are a resident of Hindupur in Andhra Pradesh. The accused had killed Chandru at his residence, reported IANS.
According to reports, Shwetha is a relative of Chandru and they had an age gap of 18 years. She was forced to marry Chandru by the family elders. Chandru had come to Bengaluru after the marriage while Shwetha stay at their residence in Hindupur.
As maintained by the cops, Shwetha was in a love relationship with her college senior Suresh before marriage and they continued the affair even after the former’s marriage.
Meanwhile, another relative of the woman, identified as Lokesh was also in love with her and had also expressed his feelings to her. Shwetha had accused Lokesh of harassing her following which Chandru had lodged a complaint with Hindupur police.
Shwetha, during a comprising meeting, had also thrashed Lokesh with her sandals in the presence of her family members and cops.
Following that, Chandru brought his wife Shwetha to live with him in Yelahanka. But, her partner kept messaging her. But soon, she realised that it was difficult for her to continue her love affair with Suresh in presence of her husband and hence, asked him to kill him.
Furthermore the cops said on October 21, when Chandru came back home, his wife took him to the terrace, where Suresh who was already waiting, and attacked him.
Shwetha had given a log to Suresh to attack Chandru. She had also given a knife to him so that he could cut her husband's private part, police added as reported by IANS.
Chandru was attacked to death. While, on the other hand, Shwetha pretended that Chandru had not returned home from work. When Chandru did not return for a long time, family members started looking for him and found him lying in a pool of blood on the terrace.
However, Shwetha carried on her acting and shifted him to Yelahanka Government Hospital and maintained that she had no idea about anything. Police arrived at the scene and ascertained after initial probe that it was a case of murder. They grew suspicious of Shwetha as she kept changing her statements.
When police interrogated her, she tried to put the blame on Lokesh. She had told police that Lokesh was harassing her by making phone calls for the last one year. However, upon investigation, cops found that Lokesh had not made any phone calls to her.
Later when Shweta's call data was retrieved, they found Suresh's calls, and out of them, 20 calls were made on the day of the crime. The police have also found that she had sent the location of her house to him, reported IANS.
Subsequently, Suresh was taken into police custody from Andhra Pradesh’s Penugonda and later arrested Shwetha. Further investigation into the matter is underway.
