Bengaluru Shocker: Father rapes daughter after giving her sleeping pills

A heinous act has come to light in Bengaluru where a 40-year-old man allegedly raped his 19-yer-old daughter after giving her sleeping pills.

Instead of giving medicines for cold, the accused man gave her sleeping pills and then raped her. Following the crime incident, the girl allegedly attempted suicide as her stepmother didn’t come to protect her from father, timesnownews.com report said.

The shocking incident took place on the night of June 23.

After the shameful act, the 19-year-old girl consumed a toilet-cleaning chemical and went to a police station herself and then informed the police about the crime that her father committed.

The victim told the police that her father gave her medicine by saying that she is suffering from cough and cold. When she woke up the next morning, she found her father sleeping next to her. She came to know that her father has sexually harassed her, the Times Now report added.

She revealed her ordeal to the police before she got collapsed. The police immediately rushed to the hospital and are waiting for her to recover.

As per the girl’s complaint, police have arrested the father of the teen.

Meanwhile, Police are probing the stepmother’s role in the matter.
