Bengaluru man sexually harasses woman passenger on Delhi flight
In a latest development, a 29-year-old man has been booked by the Kempegowda International Airport police in Bengaluru for allegedly sexually harassing a woman passenger on a flight to Delhi.
According to the report by the Times of India, the incident happened on February 28, the 34-year-old woman filed a complaint against the accused Abhishek Kumar Singh who harassed her on the flight.
On the basis of the complaint filed by the woman, Abhishek Kumar Singh was booked by the police under section 354 A of the Indian Penal Code.
As maintained by TOI, the accused have been asked to summon when he will be investigated.
In her police complaint, the victim revealed that after the flight took off, the accused started leaning on her shoulders. He tried talking to her.
The victim told TOI, "Since I was tired, I slept off. However, a little later, I woke up realising that he was touching me inappropriately. I shouted at him and he took away his hands. I called an air hostess and told her what had happened. She asked him to sit in another place but he refused."
