Coronavirus has become a global challenge whose treatment research is still going in the laboratories. India has also confirmed 21 positive cases after 15 Italian tourists tested positive. Amid coronavirus fear, Bollywood actor Anupam Kher has come up with a piece of advice for Indians on how to protect themselves from Covid-19 and what precautions people can take.

As coronavirus is scaremongering across the globe and people have shunned handshakes and kisses. On the other hand, Indians on Twitter have picked their old age tradition to greet each other, including Anupam Kher who also joined the bandwagon.

The veteran actor has shared a video in which he is giving the desi solution on how to greet each other. In the clip, Anupam suggested people greet each other with a Namaste instead of a handshake.

He captioned the video: "Of late I am being told by lots of people to keep washing hands to prevent any kind of infection. I do that in any case. But also want to suggest the age-old Indian way of greeting people called #Namaste. It is hygienic, friendly & centres your energies. Try it. Folded hands folded hands #coronavirus.(sic)"
