Siliserh, a popular tourist destination, is all set to get a new look. The Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation (RTDC) is renovating the hotel at a cost of around Rs 58 lakh. The hotel's rooms, walls, and roofs are being repaired and renovated to make it more attractive to tourists. The renovation work is being carried out in phases, with seven rooms already getting a new look. The hotel's manager, Kesar Singh, said that the renovation work is being done to make the hotel more comfortable and safe for tourists.
Alwar Museum, which is one of the ten museums in the state to be renovated, is also getting a new look. The state government has sanctioned Rs 50 lakh for the renovation of the museum, and a team from Jaipur has already inspected the site. The renovation work is expected to start soon.
In another development, the tourism department has sent a proposal to the district headquarters for the renovation of Sagar Lake, a popular tourist spot in Alwar. The renovation work is expected to cost crores of rupees and will make the lake more attractive to tourists.
