Weinstein's accuser Asia Argento 'sexually assaulted' 17-yr-old

Hollywood actor Asia Argento, who was one of the first women to accuse Harvey Weinstein of sexual assault, had reportedly paid a young male actor to make settlements after he accused her of sexual misconduct.

The actor made a USD 380,000 settlement with actor Jimmy Bennett, the accuser who claimed that in 2013, the 'XXX' actor assaulted him just after he turned 17, reported The New York Times. The actor was 37-years old when the said incident took place.

Bennett, who is now a 22-year-old, played the Argento's son in 2014 film 'The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things'.

Documents related to the said accusations and the settlements that followed were exchanged between Argento and Bennett's respective lawyers.

The documents also includes a photograph from May 9, 2013, which shows the two in bed together, said the report by New York Times.

As per the alleged settlement, Bennett was asked to return the specified photograph and its copyright to the actor.

Argento's lawyer Carrie Goldberg had written a letter to the actor with regard to the payment of the settlement money and described the same as "helping Mr. Bennett".

During Cannes Film Festival's closing ceremony this year, Argento had accused Weinstein of raping her when she was only 21-years-old.

Reportedly, till now over 60 women have come to the fore and accused Weinstein of a wide array of misconduct, which ranges from harassment to rape.

However, maintaining his innocence, Weinstein, whose career has been left in tatters, has always denied non-consensual sex.
