Tom Holland confirms to play Spider-Man even after Marvel-Sony split
Finally after long discussions over Sony Pictures and Marvel tussle and losing Spider-Man from MCU (marvel cinematic universe), actor Tom Holland has responded to it. Tom Holland who plays Spider-Man in the Avengers series has reacted on the whole controversy.
Despite the rift between Disney and Sony, Tom Holland made an appearance at Disney's ultimate fan event D23 Expo to promote his Pixar movie "Onward". He addressed the issue before leaving the stage.
The Spider-Man: Far From Home actor Tom Holland said, "Listen, it's been a crazy week, but I want you to know, I am grateful from the bottom of my heart,". Before leaving the stage he also said that popular dialogue of Tony Stark from Avengers Endgame, "And I love you 3,000".
Let us tell you that Disney and Sony Pictures have been sharing the brand "Spider-Man" across plenty of films since 2015. As part of the agreement, Marvel had also been working as a producer of 2017 and 2019 released Spider-Man films. However, now Disney and Sony broke the deal as they are unable to reach new terms of funding of other movies.
Tom Holland made the first appearance as Spider-Man in MCU's film Captain America: Civil War in 2016. The makers chose Iron-Man's popularity to bring the superhero (Spider-Man) back to films with the same popularity.
