Morgan Freeman, an American actor-director who won an award for best supporting actor 'Million Dollar Baby' is accused by more than seven women of sexual misconduct.
Amidst following allegations, Morgan has apologised to "anyone who felt uncomfortable or disrespected".
In a statement he said, "Anyone who knows me or has worked with me knows I am not someone who would intentionally offend or knowingly make anyone feel uneasy."
Woman accused that he made unwanted advances, ranging from sexually charged verbal harassment to touching.
He added, "Making women feel uncomfortable was never my intent."
One of the nine women claims that he even asked if she was wearing underwear and tried to lift her skirt.

One production assistant accused Morgan of harassing her for months during filming of bank robbery comedy Going in Style, CNN reported.

The production assistant told CNN that during the harassment another actor, Alan Arkin, "made a comment telling him to stop. Morgan got freaked out and didn't know what to say".
A woman who worked on Now You See Me said, "Staff knew not to wear any top that would show our breasts, not to wear anything that would show our bottoms or any close-fitting clothes if Freeman was around."
Florence Anthony, who freelances for The News said that she had a run-in with Freeman in 1987 that included a "sexually inappropriate" comment she never forgot.
She got late to an interview with the actor as she was recovering from surgery for ovarian cancer. According to Anthony, Freeman said, "You girls and your ovarian cancer. Didn't your mother tell you to keep your legs crossed and your dress down?"
Visa and TransLink, the Vancouver public transit system, which feature Freeman in their advertisements have put their work with the actor on hold.
