Kourtney Kardashian takes boyfriend Younes Bendjima on a surprise romantic birthday trip
American model Kourtney Kardashian is always spontaneous and adventurous. And now we can say this because as she has planned a surprise trip for her boyfriend Younes Bendjima's birthday.
It was like yesterday after the couple attended the Syrian American Medical Society' Voices in Displacement event in L.A. Friday—where they held hands on the red carpet.
The 39-year-old model whisked her 24-year-old boyfriend away on a private plane. "For once," she teased on Instagram Stories, "he has no idea where we're going." It was so sweet that even he had no idea about the surprise but Kourtney was gracious enough to share this plan with her fans.
Bendjima also updated his Instagram Stories, by posting, "Oh, shit. She got me on my way to idknow where. 25 yo at midnight.
" Their private plane took them to a hotel which of course Kourtney planned, they enjoyed takeout from Jon & Vinny's. Kardashian surprised him in the hotel room with balloons and a cake that had a picture of him as a toddler on it, all while Jagged Edge and Nelly's.
"Where the Party At" played in the background.
She shared the photos from past vacations around the world on Saturday, until she hinted they were on the move again that afternoon.
"When he won't let [me] in the hotel room, he raps," as per the Instagram Stories, later a video of him dragging her through the hotel hallway was also posted on Instagram.
She later posted a video of the Colorado River and wished him a happy anniversary, all while keeping their next destination under wraps.
While Explaining the reason behind her frequent trips with Bendjima, Kardashian revealed a few months back that getting out of town was the “easiest way” to keep their relationship separate from her life as a mother to her three kids with ex Scott Disick.
“I have realized in life that I need the balance,” she said. “It is hard to balance being in a relationship, work and my children. I just think that it’s really important for me to be there for them, and even though I want to go away and travel and do things for myself, it’s hard to find the balance of allowing myself to do that and not feel guilty.”
“I’ve definitely learned from my past relationship, where I really wouldn’t travel without the kids and I think it is important to take time — especially because my relationship is important to me and those words aren't colliding right now — just making sure that I make time for both,” she continued.
“I think going on a trip once in a while reminds me the importance of being present and in the moment when I’m at home, and I think it makes me the best mom that I can be.”
