The late-night host had tearfully revealed during his talk show monologue in May, the story of how his son received successful open heart surgery hours after he was born because of a congenital heart disease.
Kimmel's wife Molly McNearney gave birth to William John ' Billy' Kimmel on April 21. They also share a three-year-old daughter, Jane.
