Cannes to honour Sridevi's work, husband Boney Kapoor and daughters Janhvi, Khushi to attend the ceremony
Late Bollywood actress Sridevi passed away at 54 in Dubai on February 24, 2018. The sudden demise of Sridevi shattered the Indian cinema and fans. Although, the world of cinema still remembers her because of her amazing contribution in Indian cinema.
Sridevi was remembered at the Academy Awards this year. She will also be acknowledged with a special salute for her contribution in cinema at Titan Reginald F. Lewis Film Honours at Cannes Film Festival. She will receive a special salute for her contribution to cinema on May 16, at the Cannes Film Festival 2018.
Her husband Boney Kapoor and daughters Khushi and Janhvi Kapoor will also be there at Cannes.

Boney says that he feels happy to see global recognition for Sridevi. “I’m happy that people from the world over are recognising her body of work and her contribution to cinema. Even though the overwhelming emptiness of losing her remains, it’s comforting to know that she lives on through her work."
She was last seen her 300th film ‘MOM’, for which was also awarded with the Best Actress Award at the National Film Awards this year. At the National Film Awards honour for Sridevi, her family said, “It’s time to celebrate her life and her achievements. She is not with us today but her legacy will always live on."
