Weather Forecast: N India to witness weather change due to Western Disturbance; rain, hailstorm expected

The Northern part of India are set to witness some weather change due to a Western Disturbance, which is currently over the hills of North India.

Coupled with this, an induced Cyclonic Circulation is above northern parts of Rajasthan and neighboring Haryana. This weather system will lead to some rainfall activity over the plains. There is a chance of isolated rains over the national capital region.

Rainfall will also be witnessed over northern Punjab, Haryana, mainly foothills. Cities such as Ambala, Karnal, Yamunanagar, Saharanpur, Panchkula, Chandigarh, Kapurthala, Pathankot, Jalandhar, Gurdaspur, Amritsar and Ropad starting today.

Rainfall over the plains will be seen starting today, carrying on tomorrow as well. Rainfall activity will be seeing a drop on February 24 and 25. Hailstorms are also expected over the foothills during this period..
