Breaking: 'Bigg Boss 13' winner Sidharth Shukla dies at 40

Popular television and film actor Sidharth Shukla has passed away of a heart attack. He was 40-years-old .

Bigg Boss 13 winner died on Thursday, an official at the Cooper Hospital told news agency PTI. He suffered a massive heart attack in the morning it is learnt.

"He was brought dead to the hospital some time ago," the Cooper Hospital official told PTI.

The actor started his career as a model and made his acting debut as a protagonist in the television show "Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na". Later, he featured in television shows like "Jaane Pehchaane Se... Ye Ajnabbi", "Love U Zindagi" but became a household name with "Balika Vadhu".

Sidharth Shukla also took part in reality shows, including "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6", "Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7" and "Bigg Boss 13".

Shukla made his Bollywood debut in 2014 with the Karan Johar-produced "Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania" where he had a supporting role.
