A look back at Vinod Khanna's life, through pictures
Veteran actor Vinod Khanna is no more.
A few days back, when a picture of weak and pale looking Vinod Khanna went viral on social media, his fans were shocked and prayed for his recovery.
He was suffering from bladder cancer and was admitted to Sri HN Reliance Foundation hospital in Mumbai.
Khanna acted in 146 films in his career. His popular movies include Mere Apne, Mera Gaon Mera Desh, Gaddar, Jail Yatra, Imitihaan, Inkaar, Kuch Dhaage, Amar Akbar Anthony, Rajput, Qurbani, Kudrat, Dayavan, Kaarnama, Suryaa: An Awakening and Jurm. He was last seen in Shah Rukh Khan’s movie Dilwale (2015).
He also received a Filmfare award in the best supporting actor category for Haath Ki Safaai, and in 1999 he received the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award. In 2007 he also won a lifetime achievement award at the Zee Cine Awards.
