VITEEE 2018: Registration process extended; know the details

VIT Engineering Entrance Examination 2018 registration process has been extended now. Students who are thinking that they missed a chance or applying for the examination. Then, they are having good opportunity to apply.

All the eligible candidates for the examination can apply till 15 March now by the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT).

However, the exam will be conducted from 4 April to 15 April this year.

Know the steps how to apply for doing the registration:

Step I: Open the official website of VIT at vit.ac.in

Step II: Open the link for the registration

Step III: Submit all your details asked on the registration page

Step IV: Finally, click on Ok to submit your details

Know the eligibility criteria:

The candidates will only be eligible for the registration if they have secured an aggregate of 60 percent in physics, chemistry, and mathematics/biology in the qualifying examination (+2/intermediate). The candidates who have studied in regular, full time and formal education are alone eligible to apply. 'NIOS' candidates are also eligible to appear for the exam.

The paper for PCME( Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English) will comprise of 120 questions and English 5 questions, therefore, the total questions will be asked 125. For PCBE (Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English) 125 questions will be asked including Eglish. No negative marking for attempting the wrong answers. The paper pattern will be based on MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions).

Paper will be conducted in three sessions:

I Session: 9 am to 11:30 am
II Session: 12:30 pm to 3 pm
III Session: 4 pm to 6:30 pm

VITEEE conducted every year for granting the admissions to Bachelor of Technology (BTech) programme at VIT Vellore Campus, Chennai Campus, VIT-Bhopal and VIT-AP on the day of Counselling as per the merit and availability.
