UPSC ESE 2022: Official schedule released for Engineering Services Exam; check more details

UPSC Engineering Services Exam 2022: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the official examination schedule for UPS Engineering Services Exam (ESE) on its official website- upsc.gov.in. Candidates who have applied for UPSC ESE prelims can check the examination date now.

As per the official schedule, the ESE prelims exam will be held on February 20, 2022. The exam will be held in two shifts—10 am to 12:00 noon and the second shift will be started from 02:00 pm to 05:00 pm.

UPSC ESE 2022: Selection procedure

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in three stages examinations- Prelims, Main, and Personality test.

Aspirants who will qualify UPSC ESE stage 1 exam (objective type papers) will be eligible to appear for the Main or stage 2 exam which is conventional type papers. After qualifying the two stages, candidates will have to appear for the final round i.e. personality test.

UPSC Engineering Prelims 2021-22: Examination pattern

UPSC Engineering Services Exam (ESE) prelims will consist of two objective-type questions and will carry a maximum of 500 marks (Paper 1 - 200 Marks & Paper II - 300 Marks).
