UPSC Civil Services Admit Card 2019: Download! CSE Main exam to be held from September 20; check exam details
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released admit card for Civil Services Main examination on 31 August 2019. Candidates who have qualified the preliminary exam are eligible to appear for second stage examination which will start from September 20, 2019.
This year, a total of 11,845 candidates have been qualified for the UPSC Civil Services (Main) exam. Therefore, all the selected candidates now download their admit card from the official website at upsc.gov.in.
The Commission will conduct the Civil Services (Main) exam from September 20 and will conclude on September 20, 2019.
Steps to download UPSC CSE (Main) 2019:
1. Visit the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in
2. Click on the link which says, “UPSC Civil Services 2019 Main Exam e-Admit Card”
3. Enter your details asked in the space given on the page
4. Click on Ok
5. Your admit card will appear on the page
6. Download UPSC CSE Main admit card
7. Take a printout for further purpose
Check UPSC Civil Service (Main) exam pattern:
UPSC CSE exam comprised of three stages i.e. preliminary exam, main exam, and interview test. Candidates who have qualified the prelims exam are eligible to appear for the main exam.
UPSC Civil Services main exam will consist of 9 papers of conventional essay type in the subjects set out in subsection (B) of Section II out of which two papers will be qualifying in nature. Note (ii) under Para I of Section II (B) marks obtained for all the compulsory papers (Paper I to Paper VII) and marks obtained in an interview for personality test will be counted for ranking.
Candidates who will qualify the main examination will be summoned by UPSC for an interview for a Personality Test, vide sub-section ‘C’ of Section II.
As per the notification, the number of candidates will be selected for the interview will be twice of the number vacancies released by UPSC.
The interview will carry 275 marks (with no minimum qualifying marks).
The final ranking of the candidate will be determined according to the marks obtained by candidates in written and interview exam.
Selected candidates will be posted in different departments of Government in view their rank in the exam.
