UPPSC PCS Main Exam 2019: Important Alert! PCS main exam postponed again; check new schedule

In the wake of a spike in coronavirus cases in India, the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has taken important decisions on Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services (Mains) General and Special Recruitment Examination 2019 or UPPSC PCS (Mains) 2019 exam.

According to the latest notification, UPPSC PCS mains 2019 exam has been postponed and now will be conducted from August 25, 2020. Therefore, candidates who have qualified for the mains exam should keep their eyes on the official website of UPPSC for further updates.

The information about the postponement of the UPPSC PCS exam 2019 was announced on June 9 through its amended calendar.

UPPSC exam controller Arvind Kumar Mishra also mentioned the reason behind postponed of the examination that Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) had scheduled its Civil Services 2019 interview in July, therefore, UPPSC didn’t want any candidate who was set to appear in PCS (Mains) 2019 or who had also qualified for Civil Services 2019 interview face any problem because of the examination dates.

As per the latest updates, the UPSC Civil Services exam 2019 interviews will begin from July 20.

With this announcement, candidates who are going to appear for UPPSC PCS mains exam will now get some relief in doing their preparation.
