UP Board Exams 2021: Important update for Class 10th, 12th board students

UP Board 10th, 12th Exams 2021: The Board of High School and Intermediate Education Uttar Pradesh is yet to announce its final decision on the conduction of the UP Board class 10th and Class 12th exam 2021.

As per the latest update, the board is expected to announce its decision next week.

According to media reports, Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma has said that the decision regarding the UP Board class 10th and class 12th exams will be communicated after May 20.

The final decision on the university exams that were also scheduled to take place in the coming weeks will also be announced next week after consultation with UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Amid a rise in COVID-19 cases, students have been demanding to cancelled all the examinations. However, UP Board had postponed the Class 10th, 12th examinations which were to be conducted from April 24 due to the second wave of coronavirus.

This year, around 53 lakh students had registered for the UP Board Class 10th and Class 12th exams.

Apart from UP Board exams, several other state board exams have been either cancelled or postponed in the wake of a surge in coronavirus cases.

Last month, CBSE also announced to cancel the CBSE Class 10th Board exams while class 12th board exams were postponed till further notice.

Meanwhile, UP Board students are advised to visit the official website of UP Board on regular basis for further information about their Board Exams 2021.
