UGC NET June Exam 2022: Online application forms, official exam schedule to be released soon; check latest updates

NTA UGC NET 2022: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon be releasing the official notification for the upcoming University Grants Commission (UGC)-National Eligibility Test (NET) on its official website.

The UGC Chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar has already announced that the examinations for UGC NET December 2021 and June 2022 (merged cycles) will be held in the first/second week of June 2022.

“For the merged cycles of December 2021 and June 2022, the next UGC-NET will be conducted in the first/second week of June 2022. The exact schedule will be announced once NTA finalizes the date.”UGC Chairman wrote on his Twitter account.

However, the NTA is yet to release the official notification for the UGC NET exam which will contain the detailed information about the entrance examination which is held to determine the eligibility for the post of Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Indian Universities & College.

Reportedly, NTA is expected to release the official notification either in the last week of April or in the first week of May 2022.

Candidates are advised to keep their eyes on the official website of NTA UGC NET at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

The entrance exam will be held in an online mode across various exam centres in India.

Age Limit Required

• For Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)- 31 years
• For Assistant Professor- No upper age limit

Application Fee-

• General- Rs 1000
• OBC/ Economically Weaker Section (EWS)- Rs 500
• SC/ ST/ PwD/ Transgender- Rs 250
