The Central Board of Secondary Education will be going to conduct the UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) July 2018 exam on 8th July. CBSE has conducted the examination for doing the recruitment on Assistant and Junior Research Fellowship posts. Candidates who will be qualified the exam will be eligible for the Assistant Professor posts released by any university.
However, various changes have been made by the board in the examination pattern and also changes like the age limit has been increased from 28 to 30 years.
CBSE has already released the admit card for the UGC NET aspirant on 21st June on the official website, cbsenet.nic.in. Those who have not download their admit card can download now as only one day is left. Remember without UGC hall ticket candidate will not be allowed to enter to the exam hall. Also, carry the photocopy of your admit card to the exam hall.
Know what things are banned to carry to the exam hall:
No electronic gadgets should be allowed like a wrist watch, mobile phone, calculator etc. Candidates should keep their notes and books outside the exam hall only.
This year, candidates will have to appear for the two paper i.e. Paper I and Paper II.
In paper 1, the first paper will consist of 100 marks and 50 questions will be asked. Each question carries 2 marks. While in paper 2, there will be 100 questions of 200 marks. Each and every question is compulsory.
Timings of Exam:
- Paper I: The first paper will be held from 9:30 am to 10:30 am.
- Paper II: The second paper timings are 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
