UGC NET 2022: NTA likely to release June exam notification this month; check important details

UGC NET 2022 Notification: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be going to release the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June exam notification on its website very soon. Candidates who are willing to appear for the UGC NET June exam must keep their eyes at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

NTA will conduct the UGC NET exam in an online mode across various examination centres in India. The National Eligibility Test is conducted by NTA twice a year to determine the eligibility for the post of Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Indian Universities & Colleges.

The official notification for the UGC NET June exam will be released by NTA on its official website before April 30. Therefore, candidates should keep checking the official website for more information on UGC NET June 2022.

Through the notification, candidates will know the registration opening and closing date along with eligibility criteria.

Candidates who want to become a Professor or Lecturer can apply for the NTA UGC NET exam.

UGC NET 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification

To apply for the UGC NET exam, candidates must have 55% aggregate in Master’s Degree or Equivalent Degree

Age Limit

• For Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)- 31 years
• For Assistant Professor- No upper age limit
• Note: Candidates will get the age relaxation as per govt norms.

Application Fee

• For General- Rs 1000
• For OBC/ Economically Weaker Section (EWS)- Rs 500
• For SC/ ST/ PwD/ Transgender- Rs 250
