Candidates who are willing to apply for UGC NET July 2018 examination, then, today is the last date for you to apply for the examination. CBSE, the organizing body for the National Eligibility Test, which had invited the online application process for the examination and announced to conduct the examination on 8th July after introducing the new changes in the pattern of exam.
Candidates have to register themselves before the last date i.e 5 April. As the last date is arriving, therefore, you have only two days to submit your online application form as soon as possible. So, hurry up people the time is very less to apply for the UGC NET July examination.
The exam is conducted by the CBSE for
determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Assistant Professor or Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) posts in Indian universities or institutes. CBSE will conduct the NET examination in different 84 subjects at 91 selected NET examination centre across the country.
Follow these steps to apply for the UGC NET June 2018:
Step I: Open the official website of UGC NET at cbsenet.nic.in
Step II: Click on the specific link given on the website
Step III: Submit all your details asked on the page
Step IV: Click to submit
Step V: Take a Printout for the future reference
The age limit for JRF has been extended by the Board from 28 to 30.
Important dates for UGC NET 2018:
- Starting of registration: 6 March
- Last date of registration: 5 April
- Last date for submission of fee: 6 April
- Date of examination: 8 July
UGC NET 2018 examination fee:
- For General category: Rs 1,000
- Other Backward Classes (non-creamy layer): Rs 500
- SC/ST/PwD/Transgender: Rs 250
The NET examination will be conducted in two phases i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2. The first paper carries 100 marks which will consist of 50 questions and all are mandatory to attempt. The time limit for the Paper 1 will be one hour. The Paper II will consist of 100 questions of 200 marks. The duration of the exam is 2 hours.
