TNPSC Recruitment 2019: Notification released for Jailor posts; 18 years can apply

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has released a short job notification for the post of Jailor in its latest advertisement. Interested aspirants can visit the official website to read the vacancy details against notification number 27/2019.

According to the short notification, the registration process for the same will be done via online mode. Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria can apply for the vacancies that will begin from October 3, 2019.

The last date for the submission of TNPSC online application form is 31 October 2019.

The selection for the post of Jailor will be done based on written examination in the form of Paper 1 (FN) and Paper 2 (AN). The exam for Jailor post is expected to be held on December 22, 2019. While Paper 1 will have a question from General Subject and Paper 2 will be based on the questions from General Studies and General Tamil/General English.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should hold the degree of graduation in any discipline from a University/Institute recognized by the University Grants Commission.

Age Limit Required:

The minimum age limit required for the post is 18 years.

Selection Procedure:

Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the two stages: Written Exam, Interview.
