The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the vacancy and salary details for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) examination 2017. As per the latest notification, a total of 5,895 vacancies can be applied for through this exam.
Out of the total, 2587 vacancies are for the lower division clerk (LDC) and junior secretariat assistant (JSA) posts. While, 3267 vacancies are for the posts under the Ministry of Communication and IT, whereas, 41 jobs are for the post of data entry operator (DEO).
However, the number of vacancies to be released was expected to be 3,259 which has been increased, as per to the latest notification. The exams were conducted from March 4 to March 26, 2018. The tier-II exam is scheduled for July 8, 2018.
Meanwhile, the application process for the CHSL exam has been closed and the exam is expected to start from July 1, 2019, till on July 26, 2019.
Here are Salary Details:
For the post of LDC and JSA, candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs 5200 to Rs 20,200 in addition to grade pay of Rs PA, SA will be paid Rs 5200 to Rs 20,200 in addition to grade pay of Rs 2400.
For those hired at the post of DEO will get remuneration in the pay scale of Rs 5200 to Rs 20200 and grade pay of Rs 2400
In a major development, Staff Selection Commission (SSC) recently declared the results of Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier-3 exam results on its official website. The results were declared by the Commission after one year of gap after Supreme Court on 9th May directed SSC to release the results.
