SBI Clerk Exam Postponed: Bad news! Preliminary examination date for Junior Associate postponed; check other changes

Candidates who are waiting for their admit card for the Junior Associate post now won't be able to download their call letter. State Bank of India has released the notification in which it has mentioned the changes regarding the preliminary examination that is scheduled to held tentatively in the month of March or April 2018. The notification has been uploaded on the official website on 28 February.

According to the notification, there has been changed in the schedule of the examination. The Junior Associate exam is likely to be slated in the month of June or July 2018.

As per the notification, 'Further to our advertisement No. CRPD/CR/2017-18/10 dated 20.01.2018, regarding recruitment of Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) in Clerical cadre in SBI, we have to inform that the Preliminary Examination scheduled to be held tentatively in the month of March/April’ 2018 has been deferred and it will now be held tentatively in the month June/July’2018.'

Earlier, the admit card for the Junior Associate post has to be released on 1 March 2018 which is now postponed till 6 June 2018. The prelims for the same has to be conducted in the month of March or April, now it has revised till the month of June or July. As after this changes in the examination date, the mains examination also postponed now onward. As the mains examination call letter will likely to be released from 27 July 2018 which have to be released in the month of March or April. The examination for the same will be conducted on 5 August 2018.

However, the reason behind the sudden change in the schedule of the Junior Associate examination by SBI is still unknown.
