Railway Recruitment Board has started the examination process for the recruitment of RRB JE exam from today onwards. The Computer-Based Test for the selection of the positions like Junior Engineer (JE), Junior Engineer (Information Technology) [JE (IT)], Depot Material Superintendent (DMS) and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) has begun today and conducting at different exam centers across the country.

The examination dates have been notified to the aspirants in the admit cards which were released on 18th May.

With this recruitment drive, RRB invited application to fill a total of 13487 vacancies.

In this article, we will be going to tell you some exclusive details about RRB JE CBT-1 2019 exam that was held online.

Here’s RRB JE exam pattern:

RRB JE exam will be of two hours 30 minutes while for PwD candidates, the exam duration is 2 hours.

JE CBT is divided into four sections:

1. Mathematics
2. General Intelligence & Reasoning
3. General Awareness
4. General Science

Know the number of questions asked section-wise:

1. Mathematics- 30 questions (30 marks)
2. General Intelligence & Reasoning- 25 (25 marks)
3. General Awareness- 15 (15 marks)
4. General Science- 30 (30 marks)

 This year, RRB conducted RRB JE exam through online mode in both English and Hindi Language. 

For each wrong answer, 1/3 marks will be deducted.

Candidates who will qualified the two-stages of the exam will be posted as JE, CMA, DMS and other across the country.
