Rajasthan Police Recruitment 2019: Notification released for 5000 Constable posts; important details inside

Rajasthan Police has invited application form to fill the post of Constable on its official website. There is a total of 5000 vacancies and the police department will conduct the written examination in offline mode that will be held in February-March 2020.

To apply for the post of Constable, candidates should fulfill the eligibility criteria required.

The link of Rajasthan Constable post has been activated on the official website at police.rajasthan.gov.in. The notification is available in a PDF format. As per the notification, the start date for online application form submission will be 15 days after the notification is published in newspapers. The last date to apply for the vacancies will be one month from the date of release of the notification.

Under this recruitment drive, 3050 vacancies will be filled for Constable post, 1597 vacancies for constable post of TSP area, 341 for constable driver, and 12 for constable driver TSP area.

Educational Qualification Required:

The minimum educational qualification required to apply for the post of constable in district police is class 10th. While for RAC or MBC battalion job, the education qualification of the aspirant should be 8th pass from a recognised board.

Selection Procedure:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the offline written exam. The exam comprises of 75 marks. The physical efficiency test will be of 15 marks and special skill test for general constable will be of 10 marks.

While for the post of Constable Driver, the written test will be of 75 marks, physical efficiency test of 10 marks, proficiency test of 15 marks.

Rajasthan Police Exam Details:

The exam will consist of four sections that are given below:

Section I:
Reasoning and Logical ability, general knowledge of computers. It comprises of 60 questions of 30 marks.

Section II:
General knowledge, general knowledge, general science, social science, and current affairs. The section will have 35 questions of 17.5 marks.

Section III:
The section will be based on crimes against women and children and related legal provisions. There will be 10 questions of 5 marks.

Section IV:
In this section, the question will be based on Rajasthan history, culture, arts, geography, politics and economics. There will be 45 questions of 22.5 marks.
