Rajasthan Police Constable Exam Postponed; see when the new dates will be announced
As per the latest reports, the Rajasthan Police have cancelled the second leg of the Rajasthan Police Recruitment examination that were earlier going to held from 20 March to 31 March and the exam has been postponed till further announcement of the new dates. This action was taken after many reports about the various malpractises going on during the exam.
The latest reports claimed that as many as 21 accused have been arrested for the same and on Monday, six people were jailed for carrying out online cheating during the exam. Earlier applications for 5390 vacancies of constables were invited by the Rajasthan police.
Last week five people were arrested for cheating during the exam by the state’s Special Operation Group (SOG). This was the major reason why the decission of postponing the exam was taken. The official notice about the same was posted on the official website of the Rajasthan Police.
Talking about the number of vacancies that were 5390, 4684 vacancies of which were for general constables, 402 were for general constables- TSP/Sahria Area and 304 vacancies were for Constables (Driver).
The Additional Director General (SOG) Umesh Mishra told in an interview that two accused were involved in taking out cloned thumbprints of the candidates. Not only this they were even involved in sending proxies to write during the exam. In another cheating racket, three people who were accused that included the prime accused and centre director got arrested.
Talking about the postponed exam, the further announcement of the examination dates will be announced soon on the official website and so the applicants must keep a watch on the website on a regular basis.
