PSEB Class 10th Results 2018: Girls defeated boys in Punjab Board results; know the overall pass percentage
The Punjab Board results for Class 10th has released the merit list on the official website. However, the result for Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) also uploaded today, i.e. 9 May 2018. Therefore, all the candidates can check their results on the PSEB official website.
As per the reports, this year, 2,11,521 boys appeared for the exam and out of the total only 1,10,655 boys could pass the exam, an overall percentage of 52.31. While 1,56,774 girls had appeared, only 1,08,38 girls could able to pass the exam.
According to the reports of PTI, the overall passing percentage of Class 10th exam is 59.47. Talking about the last year's record, in 2016 and 2017, the overall pass percentage was 72.25 and 57.50 respectively.
The total number of students who had appeared for the Class 10th exam is 3,68,295, a PSEB spokesperson said.
However, the topper was Gurpreet Singh of Harkrishan Sahib Public Senior Secondary School, who passed with 98% while the second topper was Jasmeen Kaur of Shishu Model High School in Kapurthala with 97.85 percent marks.

III. Enter your details like roll number, dob
IV. Click on OK to submit your details
V. The result will be displayed on the official page

The Punjab Board Class 10th Matriculation examination was conducted between 12 March to 31 March 2018.
