NEET notification 2018: The official announcement to be release before this weekend

The official announcement about the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) exam date will be released before Sunday, January 14th.

According to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), NEET UG 2018 the exam date announcement will be displayed on the official website before the end of this week. So, the students are advised to do their preparations according to the days left for the competition.

Last year, NEET exam was held on 7 May 2017, and that is why same expectations are being made by the experts that this year too, NEET is likely to be held in the first week of May. Although the online application forms will be available from 31st January on cbseneet.nic.in.

Earlier in 2016, NEET was made mandatory for every aspiring candidate who wanted to do MBBS. Therefore, after that NEET was a common platform for taking the admission in medical colleges across the nation. Only AIIMS and JIPMER conducts their own entrance exam.

Central government introduced two criteria in 2017. First was the attempts were made limited to three only. Therefore, students who had already appeared for the NEET 2017 have only two attempts left. Secondly, the age limit has been brought down to 25 years only. After this criteria, students have raged the protest and several petitions have been filed. However, no updates have been given about the upcoming exam in 2018 regarding the criteria.
